Keeping Diabetes Management Affordable

October 11th, 2007 by Chris - Executive

We work hard at American Diabetes Wholesale to stand behind our commitment to the diabetic community. Our role in the “fight against diabetes” is to ensure everyone is able to get affordable diabetic supplies. We understand the importance of monitoring blood glucose levels and the complications that may occur, if not properly controlled.

The cost of necessary supplies should never be a barrier to anyone’s health. This is why we will continue to provide the lowest prices on all our diabetic testing products. We carry almost every brand available so our customers can choose which brands best meets their needs. With the launch of our September weekly diabetic newsletter we recently lowered prices on many of our most popular brands. ADW – Keeping Diabetes Management Affordable!

ConvaTec

October 11th, 2007 by Duane, Product Specialist

I am excited to announce that we will be carrying a variety of ConvaTec products. I’ve heard great things about this brand.

We will now offer the DuoDERM CGF Extra Thin, DuoDERM CGF, DuoDERM CGF Border, and KALTOSTAT Fortex Dressing. Just in case your wondering, CGF stands for “Control Gel Formula.” The gel helps to maintain a moist environment, which promotes healing and also reduces pain and trauma to the skin while removing the dressing. The sizes that we offer will be limited for now, but will probably increase in the near future.

We will also be carrying the Convatec Ostomy Appliance Belt (made to hold the ostomy bag), Stomahesive Paste (ideal as a protective skin barrier, helps to prevent leakage and skin irritation, provides a better fit and longer wear time from your ostomy system) and Stomahesive Powder (absorbs moisture, helps to prevent skin irritation.)

Does anyone have any feedback regarding ConvaTec? What other products should we add?

Preparing for the Walks

October 10th, 2007 by Chris - Customer Relations

The ADA walks are right around the corner.  The first one in south Florida is this Saturday, October 13, 2007 in Miami.  The following weekend the walk will be held in West Palm Beach.  On October 27, 2007 American Diabetes Wholesale will have a team of walkers to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association.

There is still time to donate money and sponsor one of our walkers, or any walker in that matter.  I encourage everybody to walk in one of these events or any local event in your area.  They are a great deal of fun.  Not only are you getting exercise but, you are helping in the battle to find a cure for Diabetes.

If you are already signed up to walk in this Saturday’s event in Miami, please stop by our table as we will be handing out glucose tablets, pill cases, notepads, and pens to the walkers.  We will also do the same at the October 20th walk in West Palm Beach, FL.

Sign up and join our ADW Power Walkers if you are in the area or follow the link to make a generous donation.  Thank you in advance.
