American Diabetes Wholesale Newsletter Review: November 12, 2007

November 12th, 2007 by Eric - Customer Relations

Another week means a new edition of the American Diabetes Wholesale Newsletter! This time around, it is orientated to help you get through one of the more challenging holidays for diabetics: Thanksgiving. The very name of this special day conjures up images of family gatherings and plenty of smiles, but also of hearty meals and culinary temptations. After all, the tasty staples of this all-American tradition are often high-glycemic, high calorie dishes, such as pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes.

The main article “Coping with Thanksgiving as a Diabetic” offers insightful tips on how to have a happy, yet healthy Thanksgiving. Those with diabetes don’t have to miss out on the enjoyment of Thanksgiving, and these tips will help you experience a great holiday, with a full stomach and a smile on your face.

Thanksgiving is normally viewed as the beginning of the long holiday season, so it important to be prepared for even more sweet challenges. You can still satisfy your sweet tooth with some of the items featured in this newsletter’s Product Spotlight: Alternative Desserts. You can bake up some diabetic-friendly recipes with spotlighted ingredients such as Calorie Control Cheesecake Mix and Sweet’N Low Chocolate Cake Mix.

Thanksgiving usually means plenty of leftovers, so you should also check out the delicious recipe for Turkey Hash!
