American Diabetes Wholesale Newsletter Review: April 10, 2008
April 11th, 2008 by Eric, Web DepartmentThis week’s edition of the American Diabetes Wholesale Newsletter is here! To start things off, we included a great article about a recent study on bitter melon and diabetes. Bitter melon is a tropical fruit used in many foreign countries for its health benefits, as well as culinary flavorings. The study indicates that bitter melon in its various forms (extract, tea, etc.) may have a positive effect on AMPK, an enzyme that regulates metabolism and aids in the body’s glucose absorption. Check out the article, “What is Bitter Melon?” for more information!
This week’s Product Spotlight puts Blood Sugar Supplements into focus. American Diabetes Wholesale carries a wide range of these types of diabetic products, such as GSL Sugar Balance, and Diabetiks Multi-Vitamin by Nature’s Benefit. Many people have heard of the benefits of cinnamon on diabetes, and we also have products to meet those needs too. If you’re interested, be sure to check out Cinnamon Supreme Blood Sugar Support and Cinnamon Supreme!
Finally, this week’s recipe is a delicious meal that has it all: veggies, protein, and lots of flavor. It’s an old favorite: Chicken Cacciatore over Pasta. Cook this one up, and enjoy the smiles!
