Managing Blood Sugars
June 27th, 2007 by Chris SOne of the most difficult tasks for not only newly diagnosed diabetics, but all diabetics in general, is being able to properly manage their blood sugars. Being an active 22 year old full time college student and also working a part time job, I find that sometimes I just feel like I don’t have any time to test my blood sugar. Even though that I know the key to managing your diabetes and staying healthy is by making sure you are testing your blood sugars so you can adjust throughout the day.
Some other diabetics run into other problems when it comes to managing their blood sugars, whether it be that they can’t afford test strips, a meter, or just do not have the correct diabetic education. There are plenty of resources online that can help diabetics solve these issues. For additional information on these resources, please follow the links under my Blogroll.
Stay safe and remember to test, test, test, and test again.
When it comes to your blood sugars, TEST, DO NOT GUESS.
