Bowling and Blogging Friday 2
February 22nd, 2008 by Chris SSo it’s Friday once again. The weekend is almost here, and bowling tonight. As I said yesterday we got beat last week, only 2 out of 3 games, but that’s still too much. I think we are still in first, if not we probably dropped only to second. My goal for tonight is to bring my average above 150. As bad as this sounds, I just want to bowl a higher score than my blood sugar levels.
I forget half the time to test during the 3 hours that I am there bowling, drinking, and eating. Last week I didn’t have any chips, but instead had boneless buffalo wings, which were amazing. I overestimated the carbs and took too much insulin and then the run to the candy machine for Skittles followed. To add to it, it was my turn to bowl, and I threw a strike even with a low blood sugar.
It’s going to be stressful tonight while bowling because I have to be doing homework along with bowling, so no drinking tonight, and who knows what I am going to eat, hopefully something good.
One last thing, hopefully some of you will give me feedback on. I don’t eat fish, I know I need to, I eat a lot of canned tuna fish which does contain Omega 3, but this isn’t good enough, any suggestions on a good fish, that well, doesn’t taste like fish?
