New Diet and Goals Every Monday
November 10th, 2008 by Chris SWell, it wasn’t such a good weekend for the Eagles, but what are you going to do? I don’t want to talk too much about it. However, my blood sugar levels were perfect throughout the entire game which surprised the heck out of me. Today is the start of a strict, strict, diet to lose about 10 pounds before Thanksgiving rolls around.
I plan on cutting my calorie intake down to about 1,000, and burning about 200-300 per day from exercise. Right now, I am intaking nearly 2,000 a day and that’s not working out so well. The only part that is making me eat so much is the snacking at night that I am taking in almost 400-500 calories after dinner…. not a good idea when you are trying to lose weight. If I cut out that snacking, I can lose 5-6 pounds a month just by that!
Today’s weight… the highest I have ever been is 242. Every Monday I will put up a new weight and give a new goal, and we’ll see if I can meet it. My goal for next week is 237. 5 pounds in one week may sound like a lot, but it is just so much excessive fat that it will come right off with 1-2 games of tennis.
Also, A1C time is approaching fast. I don’t remember exactly when the last one was, so I have to check up on it and see.
