Back From Pennsylvania

December 29th, 2008 by Chris S

So I just got back from Pennsylvania from my Christmas vacation and also a doctor’s visit.  Everything went good with my educator visit except she didn’t like the levels of my morning blood sugars.  So what we decided was that we will increase my basal rate throughout the night to 2.5.  If that creates too many lows then I will decrease it then.  But I think this will definitely help fight these highs in the morning.  She also didn’t like the weight that I had put on over the past few months.  I will be starting my 2009 diet a little early and start it today.  Before I was riding the bike, but was not doing any lifting.  Now I am going to be riding the bike, plus doing lifting but with light weights just to  build definition.  While I was home, I saw some pictures from back in the day when I was in high school and playing sports.  I took it back here with me for a little bit of motivation.

I have a lot more things to be doing now, which means less time to make it to the gym.  However, the difference now is that I am going to make more time to go to the gym, and less excuses to not go to the gym.  That was my problem before, and then I would eat too much after the gym, but not anymore.  I am going to do a lot better this time!
