Happy and Safe 2009!
December 31st, 2008 by Chris SWell, I haven’t been posting as often as I usually do or how often I should be. But it is the last day of 2008, so I will definitely put a quick one up. I am not going to make a resolution saying that I will post more often, because then I definitely will not post as much, and will probably end up posting even less than I have been lately. I have gone to the gym both nights so far this week and not only did the bike, but also a pretty intense lifting workout. I have also been eating a little better too. 2 days, no fast food so far. The worst meal that I have had was for lunch yesterday. My girlfriend LOVES this Cuban restaurant near my work, so she met me there yesterday for lunch. I had a skirt steak and rice and beans, not too unhealthy, but not very healthy either.
I will continue to eat well going into 2009 because I have a goal of losing nearly 40 pounds, and I will not stop until I do it. I will stay motivated and dedicated to do it. It will make me healthier, and has already kept my blood sugars at better levels. I haven’t had a reading over 180 since Sunday night. That is the first time that has happened in…… I can’t even tell you when. My levels in the morning are even lower, around 150, getting better.
Well all this is making me hungry, and it is coming up on lunch time, so I will see you all next year!
