Sore After Gym
January 7th, 2009 by Chris SWow, am I sore from exercising or what! Last night was my first night of going all out at the gym. Last week was just a warm up, but then this week I put the real weights on and went at it. I also tried a new warm up. Usually I would drive to the gym, 0.5 miles from my house and then do 15 minutes on the bike to warm-up and then drive back home. This time, I did it a little different. I ran to the gym for my warm-up, lifted and then ran back home. The run to the gym was brutal, but the run back home was easy as could be.
I am having less and less time to go to the gym, but after last night, I will definitely continue to make time. My diet has been good so far this week. I have cut my calorie intake in half, but I am still filling up on food, which keeps expanding my stomach. I ate a lot of salad yesterday and had only crackers with fat free french onion dip with a little hot sauce. Hot sauce and crackers are the key. Hot sauce speeds up the metabolism, and crackers make you think you’re stuffed when you’re really not.
Down 2 pounds so far this week.
