I am back from vacation!! It was way too short. I didn’t go anywhere, but my family came down here for my graduation ceremony. It wasn’t as bad as I first thought it was going to be. The President of Florida Atlantic Univeristy is actually a very good speaker, great in fact. Other then that, it was just a lot of relaxation at the pool and the beach. It was good to have the family down for a little bit.
My brother, sister-in-law, my girlfriend and myself went to the Miami Seaquarium and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was about 100 degrees outside, we had a great time with all of the shows and killer whale and dolphins. Now today, it is back to realty and a lot of work to do.
Anyway, no bowling and blogging Monday today because we had to pre-bowl yesterday because my girlfriend’s family is visiting and they are all going down to Dave and Buster’s tonight. I bowled the best series of my life yesterday. The first game was a 148, then i followed that up with a 217 and a 216. I was just in a zone yesterday, I used a different ball and didn’t listen to anybody’s suggestions on moving this way, or doing this, just went up and threw the ball and made my own adjustments.
I had a lot of fighting with the insurance companies… to be continued tomorrow!
Well I’ll get back to blogging this week, I promise.

What a weekend! I spent all day yesterday cleaning up the apartment because my family is coming to visit this Friday. Thank goodness its Bowling and Blogging Monday! Friday night I went out to dinner with my girlfriend and then did nothing at all. Same thing Saturday, what a fun, fun weekend. I watched a National Lampoon’s movie on Saturday about a national grocery bagging competition, it was funny at times, but also boring at others.
There is only 3 more weeks of bowling left. Last week, we bowled bad again, and we had a chance to move up to 4-5 place, and then we could have taken down the top teams, but tonight we definetly have our work cut out for us. The sugar levels have been lower then the bowling scores, which is great because I haven’t been bowling that well in this league.
Thanks to those who gave me feedback about the A1C kits and the magazines that they like.

First, thank you for those that left me messages in regards to my insurance issues. I guess I am in for a long fight to try to survive. I guess all I really need is to have them cover doctors visits because luckily I have access to supplies, theres a reason this company’s logo is on my blog, they are keeping me alive! I have some other things that I need to take care of that are more immediate then the insurance, so I will keep you all updated when I get back that battle.
On a better note, we kicked butt last night in the bowling league. We took all 7 points. We were bowling against the team that I hated the most so I was so glad that we took all 7. We were in dead last 2 weeks ago, and we said we were going to make the greatest come back on bowling league history, and we have moved up 13 spots in 2 weeks to 11th place.
My parents will be coming down here for my graduation in about 2 1/2 weeks. So, I will have the whole week off of work and be able to spend some good time with mom, dad, brother, and sister-in-law. I still haven’t really said that too much, even though they have been married since November. I don’t really get a chance to talk to either one of them since I live in Florida now and they are still in PA. I talked to one of my best friends from high school the other day, and I said I will keep in touch more often because I really do miss talking to all the guys and the rest of my family. I need to dedicate one day to call all of them.
Well, I need to get back to work for a little.

This is week 6 of the Miller Lite Fun league, and so far it has been no far at all, being whooped every week. This weekend was a crazy one. Witnessed two fights on Friday at the bar we were at by the beach waiting for the fireworks. The fireworks sparked by people on the patio bar were better then real fireworks. Two different fights right next to us broke out and and security came and had to break things up. It was great. Drunk kids, I tell ya, dress ‘em up but ya can’t take them out!
Anyway, my parents will be coming down here in less than a month, along with my brother and his wife. They will be coming down for my graduation. I can’t wait to just get that over with, if it was up to me I wouldn’t even walk, I am just doing it for my mom. I need to make sure I have some skittles or some other candy with me to make sure that I don’t get a really bad low in the middle of the ceremony. That would not be good.
My morning sugars are still really out of whack and it is really starting to scare me. I can’t get these down for anything, and it is becoming a bad situation. I am happy when I wake up with a blood sugar between 200-300! This is ridiculous, but I have tried so many different things.
Any suggestions, please help!

Well another Monday, so another day of bowling and blogging. And a million other things with only enough time to do a few of them. First, we MUST win bowling tonight, if not then we must be prepared to make the greatest come back in bowling league history. I think my girlfriend’s younger brother will be substituting tonight for his mom since her and my girlfriend both got tattoos over the weekend.
Next, my roommate and I went looking for places this weekend, and I think we found a place that is great and I am ready to sign a lease, but I don’t know if he is, so we are taking the chance that when he is ready, it will already be gone.
This morning when I went to Dunkin Donuts I overheard the word diabetic, so I kept my ears open and started to listen. There were 2 older gentleman who I heard state that they were diabetic, and there was a younger kid who was on a pump and was describing to them exactly how the pump worked. I was really tired and didn’t have any coffee in me yet so I didn’t decide to join in on the discussion.
Well, I need to end today’s post now, no tears, please, seriously, no tears!

Well another Monday, so another week of bowling. If we perform the way that we did last week I will be extremely mad. I went over the weekend, I think it was Saturday night and bowled a few games with my girlfriend, she beat me once straight up and then she beat me with the handicap that I gave her.
I had some highs over the weekend that I wasn’t too happy about. Friday night was bad. I wanted to grab a McFlurry quickly, but it was midnight and service in south Florida sucks to begin with, but when you go that late, it’s 100 times worse. So my girlfriend and I decided to go to Sonic. Of course I had to get a chili dog because they were only a dollar, plus I had some Sonic ice cream type thing. My sugar went sky high, my tubing was cracked again and it was leaking, what a surprise.
Well, I must get back to work. Have a great week everybody!

Another Monday, another day of blogging and bowling. My life has been pretty boring as of late so there hasn’t been many things to blog about, that is why I didn’t blog last Friday. I had nothing exciting to talk about and I didn’t want to bore anybody and waste their time. I lost a vial of insulin and it really makes me mad. Last Thursday I took it to work and I know I put it in my shorts when I left to go home. I looked for it this weekend, couldn’t find it, so I thought hmm, I probably left it at work. Nope, its not here either, so now I have no clue what so ever where it is, and it still had two refills left.
Well, what are you going to do, crying about it won’t help anything. Bowling is going to be instense tonight because all the other teams suck, and since our averages are so high, we could be the worst team because of the handicaps. I don’t like losing!
Well, sorry this is so short, but it is Monday, so there is work to be done!
